UNDERAGE CLUB COACHING COURSE
This course will take place St.James, Aldergrove on Thursday 22nd November commencing 7.30pm. It is part of the Ulster Council CDP programme.
Course Outcomes:
By the end of the course the coach / administrator / referee will
Know how to set up an effective and efficient coaching and games programme within their club
Understand the importance of Long Term Player Development Pathways (LTPDP) and their vital role in producing elite players.
Know how to plan and implement the LTPDP in their clubs
Know what to coach when to their various age groups i.e. Under 6/8/10/12/14/ & 16
Content:
The course will include the following
Warm ups to suit all age groups
Content to coach to all ability groups
Skill Development – How to build skills up or break them down
Modified and Adapted games to suit any ability

A panel of twenty players are flying to Barcelona on Thursday 3rd February 2005 to participate in this inaugural European Hurling competition, a competition primarily arranged by Barcelona Gaels to promote Gaelic games in their beautiful city. |
